Water Damage Emergency Tips
A kitchen fire causes fire, smoke, and water damage to walls, surfaces, and cookware… a hurricane scatters broken glass and debris in a family room, while water soaks paneling and rugs… rising flood waters from a rain-swollen river turn carpets to a muddy, mucky mess. These scenarios create situations far beyond a homeowner’s ability to turn a chaotic mess back into a day-to-day living. After all, it’s not every day—thankfully—that homeowners have to deal with the aftermath of a frightening home disaster, natural or otherwise. Fortunately for you, The Galaxy’s Finest Carpet and Upholstery cleaning makes it our business. Here are a few emergency tips, should the unthinkable happen to you.
-Blot or mop excess water
-Remove and prop up wet upholstered cushions for even drying.
